The Bunsik Tradition
What's a Bunsik (분식) shop?
Bunsik (분식) literally means "flour food," but in everyday Korea
it stands for the corner street food shops that fed generations of students,
office workers, and night-owls. Steaming pots of tteokbokki, racks of
kimbap, vats of fish-cake broth, fried snacks behind the glass — all
cheap, fast, and full of soul.
We grew up on those flavors. Bunsik 88 is our way of bringing them
home with you.
The 88 Difference
Built for takeout, made with care.
Old-school Bunsik (분식) was designed to be eaten standing up, fast.
We've kept that spirit but rebuilt the menu for modern takeout —
travel-friendly packaging, sauces packed separately, rice cooked to
stay tender, fried snacks that hold their crunch.
Every roll is hand-rolled. Every bowl is built to order. Nothing
sits — it goes straight from our kitchen to your bag.
